When it opened in 1938, the Murray Hotel immediately became known as the standard for Art Deco luxury and elegance in Southwest New Mexico.

In 2005, restorations began at the Murray to return it to its original Streamline Moderne majesty, retaining as many historical features as possible while adding Green, energy-efficient systems for guest comfort.

Reopened in 2012, our 53 guest rooms and suites now host guests from around the world! Located in the heart of Downtown Silver City, NM, the Murray Hotel is within walking distance of numerous shops, local art galleries and restaurants.
