When it opened in 1938, the Murray Hotel immediately became known as the standard for Art Deco luxury and elegance in southern New Mexico. Since 2005, owners Kurt & Julianna Albershardt have been restoring the Murray to its original Streamline Moderne majesty, retaining as many historical features as possible while adding Green, energy-efficient systems for guest comfort. We reopened in 2012, and our 53 newly-renovated guest rooms and suites now host guests from around the world!
